The Problem

Macadams had several sites of varying sizes, locations and requirements from a depot with handful of users, through to a 24/7 breakdown control room. With over 80 breakdown vehicles across some of the most rural places in the UK, they needed a soltuion that was able to keep them online, with 24/7 support.

As a long standing customer since pre-VoIP days, following a cost savcing on traditional copper lines and basci broadband, they needed a partenrt that could move them to the new technologies and provide the right advice all along the jorney.

The Solution

Macadams have a unified VoIP and IT solution to bring their sites onto a single platform. They have effective and secure intersite voice and data communications set up to fit their needs, built on a high-speed, robust and secure connectivity solution.

We have been using SCG since 2010 in one capacity or another. It started with just our mobile phones then moved on to include our land lines and leased lines across all our sites. They now support all our IT needs and as well as tidying up our phone systems they have most recently migrated our email service to the cloud to further improve the IT service for the business. Given some of the inherited challenges SCG faced and the deadlines that needed to be met, we couldn’t fault the level of service or the professionalism of the team behind the implemented changes.
